Khotang. Krishna Bahadur Mahara, the Vice Chairman of the Maoist Party of Nepal Communist Party (NCP), who was arrested in the gold smuggling case, has been admitted to the hospital.

In the case of gold smuggling, after Mahara requested permission to stay in the hospital saying that he was sick, the court ordered him to provide the facility. The court allowed Mahara to be detained for four days. However, Mahara will remain in the hospital.
